DRESSING FOR SUCCESS

Student IDs with lanyards are a required part of the student uniform dress code and must be purchased at the school. Students are also required to wear a uniform shirt with the EAA logo.

K-5th Grade Colors: Navy or Burgundy
6th-8th Grade Colors: Light Blue or Grey

There will be a school store on campus where sweatshirts, sweaters, school t-shirts, hair accessories and many other items can be purchased.

BOYS’ EAA DRESS CODE GUIDELINES

Navy Blue Shorts and Navy Blue Pants
Those items MUST be CLASSIC NAVY BLUE in uniform material. You may purchase from the store of your choice.

Grey Shorts and Pants
NO CARGO SHORTS will be allowed for the 2016-17 school year.

GIRLS’ EAA DRESS CODE GUIDELINES

Navy Blue Shorts, Pants and Skort
Those items MUST be CLASSIC NAVY BLUE in uniform material. You may purchase from the store of your choice.

Grey Shorts, Pants, Skort in Grey and or Burgundy Plaid
NO KHAKI will be allowed for the 2016-17 school year.

Our charter school dress code is comfortable

General Dress Code Guidelines

  • Socks must be worn and should be visible. Socks should be white, gray, or navy. Footie socks are allowed if they are socks and not nylon panty hose.
  • Shoes must be closed front and back, preferably sneakers. (Examples include: Dockers, Mary Janes, TOMS).
  • No hats, head gear, bandanas or jacket hoods can be worn on the head.
  • Uniform shirts MUST always be tucked in, with no exceptions.
  • EAA School sweatshirts or jackets purchased through the school store are the ONLY approved licensed apparel to be worn inside a school building.
  • Sneakers/athletic shoes are required for PE. No high heels, platforms, boots, flip flops, sandals, lighted or wheeled shoes. Be sure you will be able to wear socks with any shoe you purchase.
  • Belts are required for all uniform clothing that have a belt loop.
  • Hair cannot be cut in mohawks or other distracting styles, and nothing can be shaved in. No unnatural or distracting hair color.
  • Distracting make-up is not permitted.
  • Body piercing, other than ears, and other distracting jewelry are NOT permitted. Hoops larger than the diameter of pinky finder are not allowed.
  • No jeans except for special days as indicated by school administration.

Consequences will be enforced if your child arrives at school out of dress code. The school administration reserves the right to interpret the dress code and make changes during the school year. Interpretation of “distracting” is up to the school administration.
